# Immutis - LLM-optimized text file ## About Immutis is transaction verification for UK conveyancers. It verifies the parties, the documents, and the bank details before completion funds move, and produces a signed verification report per matter that you can file, share with your lender or insurer, and defend. The working line is "Verify before the money moves." ## The four checks - Bank account verification: confirms the receiving account is registered to the party you are paying (Confirmation of Payee based) - Document forensics: examines payslips, proof of funds, ID, and source-of-funds paperwork for tampering or AI generation - Identity and media screening: checks identity documents and media for deepfake or AI-generated content - Confirmation call: a human verifier confirms the exact bank details with the account holder, recorded and attached to the matter Every price includes all four checks and one signed report per matter. ## How it works 1. A conveyancer creates a matter and submits the receiving bank details, the documents behind the money, and the identity and media provided by the client 2. The four checks run on that matter 3. A signed verification report is produced with a public verify link 4. The report is checked against Immutis's published signing key, no account required, so a lender, insurer, or colleague can confirm it is genuine and unaltered ## What Immutis can and cannot do Immutis confirms the receiving account is registered to the party being paid, reviews documents for signs of tampering or AI generation, screens identity and media, and records the account holder confirming the details. Immutis is explicit when a check cannot be conclusively verified, and it does not overstate results. It supports your AML and anti-fraud duties, it does not replace them. ## Pricing - Pay as you go: GBP 99 per verification, no commitment - Standard: GBP 299 per month for up to five verifications - Pro: GBP 499 per month for up to twenty verifications, GBP 99 top-ups beyond that - Turnaround: most reports complete within 48 hours; monthly plans get priority turnaround ## Core pages - [Home](https://www.immutis.com/) - [For conveyancers](https://www.immutis.com/conveyancers) - [Product](https://www.immutis.com/product) - [Technology](https://www.immutis.com/technology) - [Verification](https://www.immutis.com/verification) - [Verify a report](https://www.immutis.com/verify) - [Pricing](https://www.immutis.com/pricing) - [FAQ](https://www.immutis.com/faq) - [Security](https://www.immutis.com/security) - [Developers](https://www.immutis.com/developers) - [Status](https://www.immutis.com/status) - [About](https://www.immutis.com/about) - [Contact](https://www.immutis.com/contact) ## Blog Practical guides for UK conveyancers on fraud prevention, CQS compliance, and verification technology. A fraudster intercepts bank details in a property transaction and gets completion funds sent to an account they control. It usually starts with a compromised email account, then a plausible message carrying new or corrected payment details. The request is urgent and the funds are often unrecoverable by the time the error is spotted. - How common is it? Cifas reported 143 cases worth GBP 11.7m in a single year, with an average loss around GBP 78,000 per case. Risk concentrates at completion, when the largest sums move. - Is Confirmation of Payee enough? Not on its own. It is a best-effort name and account match made when a payment is sent and it does not cover every bank. It cannot review the documents or the people behind the transaction. - What checks should a conveyancer run before sending completion funds? Confirm the receiving account is registered to the party you are paying, review documents for tampering, screen identity and media for AI generation, and confirm the exact bank details with the account holder. Immutis runs all four and produces one signed report per matter. - Who makes the confirmation call? A human verifier from the Immutis team. They confirm the exact bank details with the account holder in their own words, and the call is recorded and attached to the matter. - How long does a verification take? Most reports are complete within 48 hours of submission. Monthly plans get priority turnaround. - Who can verify our report? Anyone you choose, using the public verify link and the published signing key, no account required. - Does this help with CQS and SRA expectations? The Law Society's CQS expects accredited firms to have fraud prevention controls, and the SRA expects adequate systems and controls to protect client money. A signed, timestamped verification record is evidence of a control, not a guarantee, and it sits on the matter file ready for audit. - What does it cost? GBP 99 per verification, GBP 299 a month for up to five, or GBP 499 a month for up to twenty with GBP 99 top-ups. Every price includes all four checks and the signed report. ## Technical details - Signing: ECDSA (P-256), published at [the public signing key](https://www.immutis.com/.well-known/immutis-signing-key.json) - Hashing: SHA-256 - Data: matters, documents, and reports are isolated per firm; files encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), UK and EU storage residency, retained only as long as the matter requires - Integrations: secure upload links, REST API, and webhooks - Auth: Clerk; billing: Stripe ## Legal - [Privacy Policy](https://www.immutis.com/privacy) - [Terms of Service](https://www.immutis.com/terms)
