Verified details, before the money moves
Immutis verifies the parties, the documents and the bank details on every property completion, before funds leave the client account.
Payment diversion fraud works by intercepting bank details between two trusted parties and redirecting a completion to an account controlled by the fraudster. Cifas reported 143 cases worth £11.7m in a single year, and the average loss is around £78,000 per case.
Immutis closes the gap before funds move. For each matter we check the account is registered to the right party, run forensics on the documents, screen for manipulation, and make a recorded confirmation call with the account holder. Every matter ends with a signed report you can file, share, and defend.
Why we exist
Verify before the money moves
Every completion should carry proof that the account, the documents, and the identity behind it were checked before funds left the client account.
A file that holds up
When a matter file includes a signed verification report, your lender, your insurer, and a dispute years later can all see what was checked and when.
Proof at the point of risk
We verify before completion, which is the only moment verification protects you. Retrospective checks can only tell you what went wrong.

Luke Swestun
FounderLuke Swestun is the founder of Immutis. He builds verification infrastructure for UK conveyancing, so the parties, documents, and bank details on every completion can be trusted.
His work focuses on cryptographic proof of origin for real-world data. He builds systems that prove data hasn't been altered, and records that can be verified independently.
By binding every check into a signed report, Immutis gives conveyancing firms proof they can trust.
